Oklahoma has shaped the sound of America. Born in Okemah in 1912, Woody Guthrie gave voice to the working class with songs like “This Land Is Your Land,” a timeless anthem of unity and hope. His legacy continues to live on through the Woody Guthrie Center in Tulsa. Today, artists like Reba McEntire, Garth Brooks, Carrie Underwood, Toby Keith, and Vince Gill carry that tradition forward.
